iRobertson is the online division of Robertson College; a registered Private Vocational Institution within the province of Manitoba. 5808287 Manitoba Ltd. is an independently registered corporation contracted to deliver a portion of Robertson College’s online education initiatives.

Robertson College uses industry vetted and Education Manitoba approved curriculum. Our professional instructors bring real-world experience into the classroom and online delivery environments to better prepare students for their chosen career.

Students attending Robertson College and iRobertson may be eligible for funding from various sources including Canada Student Loans, Employment Manitoba, and other agencies subject to individual approval.  

Brief History and Overview or Robertson College

1911: At the request of several professionals and businessmen, Mrs. Robertson opens Robertson Secretarial School in Saskatoon.

1950: Mrs. Robertson retires and the new owner and President, Mrs. Sylvia Lepine, guides the school in the future.

1985: Donald Thomas purchases Robertson Secretarial and Shorthand School. He expands the school’s focus beyond strictly secretarial program and offers a variety of business courses to meet the needs of a changing business world. The school changes its name to Robertson Career College.

1993: The School changes its name to Robertson College to reflect the evolution of its programs.

2001: Kenneth and Helen Penner purchase Robertson College. The Penner’s owned and operated Midwestern School of Business & Technology, which focused primarily on IT training. Adding Robertson College, which had Business and Health programs, gave perspective students more program options.

2010: Robertson College celebrates 100 years of excellence in private post-secondary education.
